She was on the Perfume Genius album last year, Sleaford Mods released a track with her at the beginning of the year - and the New Zealand musician Aldous Harding confirms her incredible range within the contemporary alternative, of course, mainly on her records.
More and more faces emerge from the cracks between the notes here - and this is doubly true at her breathtaking concerts. This is an artist whom the music seems to have completely taken over – and through her, us too.

Aldous Harding, first drew praise for the gothic indie folk and stark emotionality of her debut. For her follow-up, she signed to British independent label 4AD, and enlisted the help of John Parish to co-produce the record.
Designer was released in April 2019 and included the APRA Music Award-winning single The Barrel. Two years later, Harding returned with the ebullient track Old Peel, and in early 2022 she issued Lawn and Fever, the lead singles from her fourth full-length effort, Warm Chris. Her most recent tracks are collaborative songs with Perfume Genius and Sleaford Mods.
