CHRISTMAS SPECIAL
ERNST BIER'S LITTLE SHOP OF JAZZ
FEAT: CHRISTOPH ADAMS-PEPE BERNS
German:
Drummer Ernst Bier has been running the Little Shop of Jazz for over 35 years. In this jazz shop he always presents new projects with a wide variety of musicians. This time he takes the opportunity to play in a trio with two musicians with whom he has played together for many years in various bands, but never publicly in a trio.
The three musicians met in the early 90's when they lived and played music in Cologne. The pianist Christoph Adams played in a trio with Ernst Bier and Ed Schuller, among others, and all three were also heard on stage with the clarinetist Perry Robinson for several years. There are several CD releases of this. The bassist Pepe Berns was active in numerous projects with both Christoph Adams and Ernst Bier and toured throughout Europe.
The three musicians live and work in Berlin.
Let yourself be carried away by the incredible playing spirit of these excellent musicians. They live with and through their music, a fact that they pass on to their listeners without exception.
