About event
Aki Takase & Daniel Erdmann Duo
«Timeless»
SPECIAL GUESTS: Fabiana Striffler-Yuma Shigesada-Tino Ribeiro-Valeryia Delé
Aki Takase and Daniel Erdmann now has their third duo repertoire entitled “Timeless”. These are mainly new original compositions that the two of them have developed over time.
Time is the central theme of the program. What is time, what is silence, how flexible is time, perhaps we can travel into the future and into the past with the help of music?
Working together is extremely important for Aki Takase and Daniel Erdmann, and so they are in constant exchange and trying out new compositions and formats.
As a pair, the two of them are now working towards something bigger, the “Timeless Orchestra”, in which different generations of musicians meet become. A project of transmission: experiences should be shared with the young generation of musicians, and of projection: where is our music going? What is happening now and what can the future bring? The linear timeline is abolished and we want to combine good things from the past with future ideas in the now.
The “Timeless” duo program is the preparation for this. And along the way there will often be guests at the duo concerts. There will be encounters. Aki Takase - Piano
