The Vienna Jazz & Genusstage are the Viennese jazz festival of the districts and are celebrating their 14th anniversary this year - district jazz days right on the doorstep of the Viennese.
Due to the great success of the last few years, the Jazz Day tour is going through many districts again this year, and at the Döblinger Jazz & Genusstag the square in front of the Kahlenbergerkirche will be used Open-air day jazz club with the most magnificent view over Vienna.
The large viewing terrace offers the opportunity to relax or sit comfortably in the public space.
Vienna's “first couple of jazz” and their band present a varied and multi-layered, first-class musical experience from their own pen, immersed in their signature jazz sound seasoned with a pinch of world and they fascinate a large audience with their music.
Inspired by the groove-oriented playing style of hard bop and with a good portion of blues, they serve urban jazz that both bears their unmistakable signature and reflects the flair of the great jazz metropolises of Chicago, New Orleans and New York.
With songs that balance the gap between cool, relaxed and funky grooves, they immerse themselves in the jazz club atmosphere of the Big Apple.
