If you are serious about tying, this workshop is a must. It will help you progress in tying, deepen your knowledge and skills on both sides of the rope and give you a better understanding of the technique. You will learn several new harnesses, slings with them, especially Futomomo, Hip harness, Gyaku ebi and M sling. In particular, however, you will learn to tie on the bamboo and you will be able to try simple transitions between positions on the bamboo. This weekend follows #2 Workshop Basics of tying: Technique, emotions, curtains.
In this workshop we will go in depth. We will look at the technical details of the main elements of the Japanese tying method, especially the knots used and their methods of use. You may have already heard some of the things discussed in one of our workshops, but this time we will summarize everything and explain them in even more detail, so that you can get the most complete overview and better understand the commonly used bindings. This will give you more self-confidence and freedom when tying, because you will be able to create your own patterns.
It is not possible to alternate the roles of the bound and the tyer (switching).
The workshop is intended for intermediate and advanced students who have completed the complete workshop #2 Workshop Basics of tying: Technique, emotions, curtains (formerly #2 Workshop for beginners - technique, emotions, curtains).
