The Viennese Jazz & Genusstage are the Viennese Jazz Festival of the districts and are celebrating their 14th anniversary this year - District Jazz Days right on the doorstep of the people of Vienna.
Due to the great success of the last few years, the Jazz Days tour is going through many districts again this year, and at the 3rd Wiedner Jazz & Genusstag the Wieden becomes New Orleans and the Michaela RABITSCH & Robert PAWLIK Quartet transforms the
Sankt-Elisabeth-Platz into a hot jazz club!

Vienna’s “first couple of Jazz” and his band present a varied and A multi-layered musical experience in a class of its own from their own pen, immersed in their signature sound of jazz seasoned with a pinch of world and fascinating a large audience with their music.
The tunes are rooted on the one hand in the song-oriented styles of the jazz tradition, in hard bop, swing, modern jazz, New Orleans second line and blues, and on the other hand merge with elements from Indian, African, Balkan or South American Music.
They got their inspiration from their numerous tours through Europe, Asia, Africa and America, with over 2000 joint concerts in 52 countries around the world, from the intimate jazz club to the big stage or at international festivals - from Tokyo to Tehran, Kuala Lumpur to Yerevan, Cape Town to Delhi, Shanghai to Almaty, Hong Kong to Krakow, Havana to Moscow, Chicago to Ottawa, Mistelbach to Ankara …
