SKILLUP pod Urpínom is a marketing event in Banská Bystrica, which was created thanks to the cooperation of several local agencies and marketing specialists.

The goal is to deliver valuable lectures about marketing, business and brands without clichés, advertising or promo.

Why some brands resonate with entire nations while others fall into the dust? The answer lies deeper than you might expect – in the culture, values ​​and collective psychology of society. In this lecture, we will look at how the world's most successful brands - from KFC to Patagonia to IKEA - translate socio-cultural insights into campaigns that really touch people. We'll show you why the same message works differently in Europe than in Asia, why the "one size fits all" approach is dead and why locality and authenticity win over global clichés.

You will learn how to properly integrate this tool into your processes and how to use it to eliminate operational blindness or endless administration.

The lecture will focus on how artificial intelligence in search changes the habits of users and how marketers, especially SEO specialists, should react to them. The topic will be based on research on AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT and a comparison with "traditional" Google search. You will learn what has changed with the implementation of AI and what factors affect the chance of displaying your site in AI tools.

Topic: How to grow to tens of millions of annual turnover in a few years from zero.

Milan will show how CloudTalk scales thanks to an effective combination of marketing and sales. In his lecture, he will share concrete and practical tips that companies can implement in their processes to acquire more customers at lower costs. It will be about what really works in marketing in 2026, how to think strategically about connecting business and marketing and what new strategies bring results in building a successful business.

Topic: 10 e-shop quick wins that work

The focus of the lecture will be on real steps that every e-shop owner / specialist can implement relatively quickly and see immediate results. The tips are tried and tested, without sauces. They relate to topics such as pricing, basic but frequent shortcomings of accounts, but also "tricks" that can bring results with minimal effort. It's not about big strategic decisions, it's about a few clicks that reliably bring down the PNO.
